Marketing Rant-Real Estate Photography

Marketing Rant-Photographs

85% of Buyers look online for a new home before ever calling a Realtor. In a sea of listings great pictures will make your property stand out to an internet buyer ore then anything else. When I look on MLS and see listings with only a few pictures it makes no sense to me. How can I attract a buyer for your property if I have nothing to show them? I could write the most poetic copy ever describing the listing but it will never be read if I have nothing to attract the readers. A professional photographer charges almost nothing for a photo shoot on a house. As part of my marketing plan I have  a photographer come in to do not only still photos but a virtual tour as well (of course, you don't pay for this, it's all part of the service I offer).

In closing, a big part of buying Real Estate is window shopping- whether for an entry level condo or an executive estate-and the internet is the prime avenue for window shoppers. Not having great pictures on a listing is like a boutique shoe store keeping its blinds closed all day. When you list your home make sure your Realtor brings in a professional photographer and make sure they put the maximum pictures on MLS, Realty Link, CraigsList and their own website.

Demand maximum exposure for your home.
