Waterfront Walking Tour
What? Step into History and get a glimpse of the future with a FREE tour of North Vancouver's waterfront! Join Waterfront Productions "Shipyard Sal" dressed in her WWII shipbuilder's uniform, and hear all about woman's contributions to the war effort. You'll learn how North Vancouver's maritime history is being kept alive in the new waterfront redevelopment and hear many colourful stories from the city's past.
Tours take place along the historic Burrard Dry Dock and site and are suitable for families and children of all ages. No pre-registration is required.
When? Daily Wednesday to Sunday @ 3pm, now until September 2nd. Tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Where? The Tour Starts at the PGE Railway Station at the foot of Lonsdale.
Who? Waterfront Productions is a free presentation brought to you by the North Vancouver Museum and archives.
